We see electricity only in blue! But what kind of process is going on that takes such a situation? Of course, we see electricity passing through the air, and the electrons in the air atom combine the electrical energy and jump around in an excited state. When the electrons return to their previous state, they emit a light photon. In the air, this photon is reflected in blue. There are gases in which different colors appear during this process. Examples include phosphorus, mercury, and argon gas. They are mainly used to obtain different colors in NEON lights.
